Musk is rumored to be a potential buyer for Intel, but Citi says it is not optimistic

On January 18, according to a report by the US technology media SemiAccurate, the media confirmed through multiple sources that a mysterious company intends to acquire Intel (INTC.O) as a whole. Affected by the news, Intel's share price rose more than 9% on Friday. Investment community Seeking Alpha recently reported that Citigroup analysts read the paid report and said in a report sent to clients that "SemiCorrect paid report mentioned Musk as a potential buyer." However, Citi Analytics is not optimistic about Musk's acquisition of Intel. He wrote in the report that this will be a "bad result" for Intel unless Intel can hire a CEO who can withdraw from the commercial OEM business and has advanced manufacturing experience, technical sensitivity and Intel experience.
