Internet reports that on January 31 local time, U.S. White House Press Spokesperson Carolyn Levitt said that the Senate had confirmed eight cabinet candidates nominated by U.S. President Trump, including Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Environmental Protection Agency Director Lee Zeldin and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. Bogum is scheduled to be sworn in later that day. The White House expects the Senate to continue to quickly confirm the remaining qualified nominees and vote on them in the next few days. (Jin Shi)
