Online reports, Cointelegraph reported that the Dantewada District Government, Chhattisgarh State, India, has uploaded more than 700,000 land records to Avalanche to ensure transparency, prevent tampering, and simplify the land inquiry process. The project is implemented by Indian blockchain startup LegitDoc in partnership with the Dantewada District Land Records Office. Archived government records such as land rights, title registrations, cadastral maps, etc. can now be accessed and verified via blockchain. The government has set up self-service inquiry terminals in various districts, allowing residents and officials to quickly obtain land information, and verifying smart contracts through Avalanche Explorer to improve data security and reduce legal disputes.
