Online reports that Axie Infinity developer Sky Mavis will lay off 21%. According to TechInAsia, the layoffs are expected to affect about 50 of the approximately 250 team members around the world. TrungNguyen, CEO and co-founder of Sky Mavis, said the decision had nothing to do with the company's budget or financial health and was a strategic move that could allow Sky Mavis to focus more and position it for ultra-high growth in 2025 and beyond.
