According to online reports, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said at the PlanB Forum in El Salvador that he is not worried about USDT competitors and emphasized that Tether has established the world's largest digital and physical distribution network. Compared with competitors that rely on investor financing and bank incentives, Tether has expanded hundreds of thousands of partners in developing countries, empowering 400 million users to access the global financial system. Ardoino also pointed out that Tether helped the U.S. economy by buying back U.S. Treasury bonds and consolidated the U.S. dollar's global dominance. He said Tether will continue to promote universal access to financial services and help billions of people who are not yet covered by banks.
