Trump official announcement: Tariff plans on Mexico and Canada will be advanced as scheduled

Internet reports that on Monday (24th) local time, U.S. President Trump said that the U.S. plan to impose additional tariffs on Mexico and Canada will "proceed as scheduled". The previous one-month "moratorium" will expire next week. At a press conference at the White House that day, Trump was asked whether the delayed tariffs on the two U.S. trading partners would soon come back into effect, saying that "the tariffs are advancing on time and as planned" and seemed to be progressing "very fast". Trump also claimed that the United States was "taken advantage of" by foreign countries in "almost every way" and was "treated very badly" by many trading partners, not just Canada and Mexico.
