Uniswap DAO votes to approve Cycle 3 of the "Representative Reward Program" and invests US$540,000 in UNI token incentive governance "

Internet reports that the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) of Uniswap, a decentralized transaction protocol, recently voted to pass a proposal, deciding to continue the "Delegate Reward Initiative" and launch the third cycle (Cycle 3). Based on an approved proposal on blockchain voting platform Tally, Uniswap DAO will allocate an additional $540,000 worth of protocol-native tokens UNI to fund Cycle 3 of the program. The Representative Award Program aims to improve the quality and participation of Uniswap governance through financial incentives. The program provides remuneration to high-performing "representatives"(i.e. individuals or entities authorized to vote on behalf of other token holders), and each representative can receive up to $6000 worth of UNI tokens per month. The governance vote was held from February 26 to March 4, 2025, and was passed with 47.51 million votes in favor (99.45%). The third-cycle proposal is currently "queuing" for implementation, and a specific implementation date will be determined later, provided that it is not cancelled during the time-lock period.
