Online reports that the cryptocurrency industry has invested approximately US$135 million in the 2024 U.S. election cycle to support more than 50 candidates, including Democrats and Republicans, incumbents and challengers, candidates with a certain chance and candidates with little hope. As of noon on November 8, all 48 candidates supported by the industry's largest political action committee had declared victory, and in the remaining eight elections, five candidates remained in the lead.
