In October, the sales price of new commercial residential buildings in first-tier cities fell by 0.2% month-on-month, and the decline narrowed by 0.3 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, Shanghai and Shenzhen rose 0.3% and 0.1% respectively, while Beijing and Guangzhou both fell 0.7%. The sales price of second-hand residential buildings in first-tier cities turned to an increase of 0.4% month-on-month from a decline of 1.2% in the previous month, the first increase in nearly 13 months. Among them, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen rose by 1.0%, 0.2% and 0.7% respectively, while Guangzhou fell by 0.4%.
