Online reports, News.bitcoin reported that India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) announced this week that it had seized 239.4 million Indian rupees (approximately US$2.75 million) worth of cryptocurrency and other key evidence in a nationwide raid on the Gainbitcoin fraud. The agency conducted searches at more than 60 locations in India from February 25 to 26, 2025, targeting individuals and entities suspected of money laundering fraud. The main cities participating in the operation include Delhi, Pune, Nadde, Korhapur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Mohari, Jansi and Hubuli.
