Binance has taken measures against MOVE market makers for abnormal behavior and has frozen revenue for subsequent compensation to users
Online reported that Binance issued an announcement saying that it had found a connection between a market maker in the Movement (MOVE) project and another market maker that Binance recently banned continued market-making activities on the platform due to improper behavior. According to the announcement, the market maker's abnormal behaviors include: one day after the launch of MOVE (2024-12-10), the market maker sold about 66 million MOVE tokens, with almost no support for paying the bill. Before the cooperation was terminated by Binance on 2025-03-18, the market maker had earned a net profit of approximately USDT. In order to protect the interests of users, Binance has taken the following measures: it has notified Movement Labs and Movement Foundation teams about the abnormal behavior of its market maker; frozen the market maker's income for subsequent compensation to users (the specific compensation plan will be subsequently determined and announced by the project party); Terminate cooperation with the market maker and prohibit it from conducting any further market making activities on Binance Platform.
