According to the Dogecoin Foundation, the Dogecoin Foundation was established in 2021 and has received several undisclosed capital injections from Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and an anonymous major Dogecoin holder. It is unclear whether the two donors will continue to sponsor the Dogecoin Foundation.
