The Dogecoin Foundation is seeking donors to fund its Dogebox program to drive large-scale adoption
According to a post posted on the X platform by the Dogecoin Foundation on Sunday, developers are seeking several major sponsors for 2025 to fund efforts to drive mass adoption. The donations will be used to build Dogebox, a decentralized payment infrastructure designed to empower small and medium-sized businesses. The amount of money developers plan to raise in 2025 is unclear. According to the Dogecoin Foundation, the Dogecoin Foundation was established in 2021 and has received several undisclosed capital injections from Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and an anonymous major Dogecoin holder. It is unclear whether the two donors will continue to sponsor the Dogecoin Foundation.
