Online reports that Slow Fog issued a document on the X platform saying that its security team received a victim report revealing that someone pretended to be a Slow Fog data scientist and acted as a Web3 recruiter to commit fraud, tricking the victim into installing malware, resulting in the victim's wallet and X account being stolen. The Slow Fog team has launched an investigation and disclosed some known details. Currently, law enforcement agencies in the German state of Baden-Württemberg have stepped in to advise the fraudster to immediately return the victim's funds.
