OpenAI and SoftBank will join forces to build Japan's artificial intelligence infrastructure

Internet reports that OpenAI and SoftBank Group will seek to build Japan's artificial intelligence infrastructure, including data centers and power plants. The two companies will host a gathering of more than 500 Japanese companies in Tokyo on Monday to find industry applications they are involved in generating artificial intelligence. OpenAI CEO Sam Ultraman and SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son are expected to announce the statement Monday night after meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
