Ripple CEO: Will explore U.S. payments, securities and other fields, after SEC litigation caused 95% of customers to migrate overseas
Internet reports that after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) agreed to drop the lawsuit, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse accepted an exclusive interview with Fox Business to discuss the company's next move. He pointed out that the SEC's lawsuit has hindered Ripple's U.S. business, resulting in 95% of its customers being overseas, but this situation is about to change. Brad Garlinghouse emphasized that Trump's crypto executive orders, especially the establishment of strategic bitcoin reserves and digital asset reserves, have created a more friendly environment for U.S. crypto companies. Therefore, Ripple plans to shift its focus to the United States and plans to explore financial fields such as payments, real estate and securities trading.
