Multicoin is accused of having close ties to SBF, Dragonfly partners say lack of conclusive evidence
According to online reports, Anthony Sassano, founder of The Daily Gwei, accused Kyle Samani, co-founder of Multicoin Capital, of repeatedly lying for profit, and having close ties with SBF and participating in multiple "scams", questioning his ignorance of FTX abnormalities. In response, Dragonfly Capital partner Haseeb Qureshi said that claims of collusion with SBF require conclusive evidence, and that Multicoin itself suffered losses due to the bankruptcy of FTX. He also recognized Kyle's investment ability, saying that he dares to bet on unpopular projects and is a rare contrarian investor in the crypto field, but his personal style is highly controversial.
