Apple is proposing to hold its biggest product launch of the year on September 10, when it will unveil its latest iPhones, watches and AirPods, according to people familiar with the matter.

The launch event will reportedly feature the new iPhone 16 series, as well as the Apple Watch Series 10 and two different new AirPods, which are expected to go on sale as early as September 20th.

The leak mentions that the new handset, iPhone 16 series, will be similar to the iPhone 15 series as a whole, but the iPhone 16 Pro and above will have larger screens. the Pro model is expected to increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, and the Pro Max model will increase from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. Additionally, Apple will also add a new button dedicated to taking photos on all four models.

Aside from the looks, the other major update could be the new Apple Intelligence feature that is currently being tested, which will be rolled out in the iOS 18 update following the release of the new phones, and is expected to be supported across the entire iPhone 16 lineup with the new iOS 18 update. For Apple Intelligence to work with it, the iPhone 16 models will come with a more powerful A18 chip.

The event could also see the release of the Apple Watch Series 10, a new watch that will be thinner than past models and will have a larger screen.

Additionally, the AirPods lineup could replace the current second- and third-generation headphones (i.e., low-end and mid-range versions) with two new headphones. The leak claims that Apple will offer noise cancellation on its mid-range AirPods for the first time, and the entry-level model will be updated for the first time since 2019.

As for the new laptop Macs with M4 chips, sources suggest that Apple developers have equipped four different versions of the M4 chip in Mac tests. Three of the versions feature the same 10-core central processing unit (CPU) and 10-core graphics processor (GPU) configuration as the iPad Pro. The fourth version will be a bit weaker in performance, with an 8-core CPU and GPU. however, all four versions will have either 16GB or 32GB of RAM.

Apple doesn't usually launch new Macs at the same time as it launches iPhones, and new Macs aren't usually released until about a month after the annual iPhone launch.
