Kazakhstan has reportedly recognized Binance's local entity as having obtained ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications. The British Standards Institution awarded these certifications to Binance after auditing the exchange's commitment to providing a secure and reliable platform for cryptocurrency users in the region.

Security and Privacy Standards

Binance expressed appreciation for this achievement, stating that it is a testament to its dedication to adhering to globally recognized standards for information security governance and privacy information management. Additionally, Binance mentioned that these recognitions validate the high standards it has achieved in protecting user assets and personal information.

Vishal Sacheendran, Binance's Regional Markets Director, commented: "Establishing high standards for information security and privacy processes is the hallmark of a trustworthy and reliable company. By obtaining these internationally recognized certifications at Binance Kazakhstan, we have validated our ability to meet these high standards. We want our users to feel reassured that their assets and personal information are protected according to the latest global standards."

ISO Certifications in France, Bahrain, and UAE

Last year, Binance also received similar certifications in France, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. External auditing body A-LIGN awarded these certifications to Binance in recognition of its adherence to international standards in information security governance and privacy information management.

Binance's Chief Security Officer, Jimmy Su, stated: "Users on our platform can rest assured that their assets and information are protected according to the latest global standards. We have a team of experienced security professionals who continually improve, adapt, and innovate to ensure that Binance remains at the forefront of safeguarding the blockchain ecosystem."

 Expansion into Kazakhstan

Last year, Binance officially launched services in Kazakhstan, marking its entry into the Central Asian market. The exchange received a permanent license in the country the previous year and partnered with local banks to facilitate fiat transfers. Binance Kazakhstan offers a range of services, including trading, digital asset custody, and fiat deposit and withdrawal services.
