ASML's first quarter 2024 financial report showed a decline in revenue and profits, and lithography machine shipments fell off a cliff, with a decrease of 54 units from the previous quarter. The Chinese market has huge demand for lithography machines, but ASML is unable to ship freely, and global chip production overcapacity has led to a decline in demand for lithography machines. China's breakthroughs in lithography machine technology also have an impact on ASML shipments.
