eToro retail investors love U.S. stocks, cryptocurrency trading
Multi-asset and social trading broker eToro surveyed 10,000 autonomous investors and traders in 13 markets around the world to understand their views on the stocks and other assets they trade and their concerns about the future.。
What are traders thinking??
22.0% of traders surveyed are most worried about the risk of a domestic recession。Europe is considered the most likely region for a recession, and China's weak recovery is not conducive to a recession。
However, only 13% of traders listed inflation as their number one risk and only 8% listed geopolitical conflict as their top concern.。Other areas of concern include interest rate levels, tax increases and national debt。
In terms of the most popular assets, retail traders are the most bullish on the U.S. stock market, with nearly a quarter seeing the best prospects for the U.S. stock market。18% chose the European market, 14% think emerging markets have the best prospects。Another 11% of traders specifically chose China。
Trader's Reverse Thinking

About 15% of traders expect to trade information technology stocks as a priority in the fourth quarter of 2023, with 11% choosing financial stocks as their preferred sector in the second half of the year.。

9.0% of traders said they would increase their investment in commodities, 7.0% of traders chose domestic bonds and another 6.0% of traders chose currency and forex。
More and more retail investors
eToro found that the number of retail investors continues to grow, and the convenience and lower cost of investment are the main drivers, and young people are also turning to independent investment.。
