Trump signs executive order seeking to shrink more federal agencies

Internet reports, according to Kim Chao, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday aimed at reducing the size of eight federal agencies as part of his move to reduce the size of the U.S. government. The action eliminated non-statutory functions for these entities and reduced other functions that the White House fact sheet called "unnecessary." Affected groups include the Federal Arbitration and Mediation Bureau, the U.S. Global Media Agency, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the American Inter-Agency Council on Homelessness, the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, and the Ethnic Minorities Business Development Agency and the Arctic Research Council.
