Survey: Nearly 15% of Brazilians would consider replacing bank account functions with cryptocurrency
Online reports, according to News.bitcoin, a survey by international online research data company YouGov showed that nearly 15% of Brazilians would consider replacing their bank account functions with cryptocurrency. 14.7% of respondents were willing to accept this possibility, with 5.7% agreeing with the decision and 9% leaning towards the arrangement. However, more than 60% still oppose using cryptocurrencies to replace banks: 39.7% absolutely disagree, and 21.7% tend to disagree with the idea. According to David Eastman, Yougov's managing director for Latin America, this should be a catalyst for banks to change how they do business with customers. Assuming those customers do leave, this will affect the financial institutions 'revenue, cutting a significant amount of their revenue in the process.
