Pan-European stock exchange Spectrum Markets sets new trading volume record in 2023 despite tough market conditions。According to the company's latest report, total order turnover rose 9% last year to 36.200 million euros。
Spectrum Markets continues to grow in 2023
In 2023, Spectrum's trading volume increased by 14%, from 14% in the previous year..200 million euros to 16.200 million euros。The total trading volume was close to 2.5 million, of which 33.9% occur outside of standard trading hours, especially between 17: 30 and 9: 00 CET。This confirms data from the previous report that one in every three transactions occurs after hours。

The company added several new partners in 2023, including Italian retail broker Directa, ICE Data Services Italy from Intercontinental Exchange, and the Italian Certificate and Investment Products Association.。At the beginning of 2024, the company established another partnership, becoming the first company to join the Association of Federal Investment Companies in Frankfurt.。
These deals expand the range of products available to investors on Spectrum venues and make trading easier with a single pan-European identifier.。
Index products dominate
The most traded underlying asset on Spectrum in 2023 was the DAX 40 (29.4%), NASDAQ 100 (20.2%) and the S & P 500 (18.9%)。Trading volume of index products accounted for 84.3% of the trading volume of currencies, commodities, stocks and cryptocurrencies is relatively small.。
Maan said: "Looking ahead to 2024, our focus remains on strengthening and expanding our trading venues through improved connectivity options and trading infrastructure, while welcoming more members to join.。"
