Gibraltar court ends two-month freeze on 542 million PLAY tokens amid legal dispute

The Internet reported that the Supreme Court of Gibraltar recently lifted a freezing order on 542 million PLAY tokens involved in a legal dispute between two affiliated companies of the Web3 gaming platform PLAY Network. In an April 17 ruling, Judge John Restano held that continued freezing could damage the value of the token and that the plaintiff had insufficient evidence. The tokens account for about two-thirds of circulation and are currently worth about $2.6 million, but have plunged 97% since they were listed in December.
