1. Opening preparation

Before subscribing for new shares, you need to open a Wealth Broker account.Wealth Broker provides convenient online account opening service, and users can register through the official website or App.For specific account opening procedures, please refer to relevant guidelines.

2. New operating procedures for Hong Kong stocks

Open the Wealth Broker App and log in using your account information.

  1. Enter the new share subscription page

In the navigation bar at the bottom of the App, click [Market], and then select [New Share Subscription].

  1. Select new shares

Browse the list of new shares currently available for subscription, click the new shares you are interested in, and enter the details page.

  1. Submit subscription application
    • Choose the subscription method: Wealth Broker provides cash subscription and financing subscription methods.Financing subscriptions can provide leverage of up to 20 times, depending on the new shares.
    • Confirm subscription quantity: Enter the subscription number based on your funds.Please note that the number of shares per lot for each new issue may vary and needs to be selected based on specific circumstances.
    • Submit the application: After confirming that there is no error, click [Confirm Subscription], and the system will prompt you to verify the information again and submit it after confirmation.

3. View subscription records

On the new share subscription page, click [Subscription History] to view your subscription details and status.

4. Matters related to the launch of new Hong Kong stocks

  1. subscription time
    • Ordinary subscription: usually closes at 09:00 a.m. on the public deadline.
    • Financing subscriptions: usually close at 11:00 a.m. on the trading day before the public deadline.

The specific deadline is subject to the display on the subscription page, and different new shares may vary.

  1. Announcement of the winning time

Subscription results will be announced before 16:00 pm on the trading day before listing.Winning information will be pushed through the App Message Notification, and you can also check it in the App's Message Center or subscription record details.

  1. Subscription fee
    • Cash subscription: The handling fee is HK$20/subscription.
    • Financing subscription: Depending on the financing multiple, the handling fee will vary.For example, the handling fee for 5 and 10 times financing is HK$100, and the handling fee for 20 times financing is HK$120.
  2. Winning fee

If you win the lottery, a commission of 1% of the winning lottery amount will be charged, as well as other transaction fees, including:

    • Transaction levy (Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission): 0.0027%
    • Transaction fee (HKEX): 0.00565%
    • Transaction levy (Hong Kong Financial Reporting Bureau): 0.00015%

    • Ordinary subscription: Subscription funds will be frozen in real time after the application is initiated and deducted on the subscription deadline.
    • Financing subscription: The principal part will be frozen in real time after the subscription application is submitted, and the financing part will be uniformly deducted on the date of announcement of the winning bid.Financing interest must be paid regardless of whether the contract is won.

    • Calculation method: Financing interest is calculated at an annualized rate of 8%, and the specific fee is determined based on the financing amount and holding days.
    • Interest cycle: Interest starts from the subscription deadline date and ends on the day before the winning result is announced.

5. Return of funds

  • Failure to win: The subscription principal will be returned to your account on the day the winning result is announced.
  • Partial winning: The winning part will be counted into your position, and the funds that have not won the winning part will be refunded after the winning result is announced.
