Internet reports that Bitwise said it has been purchased by Arca, Inc. ("NYSE Arca") filed Form 19b-4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), proposing to list Bitwise 10 Crypto Index Fund (BITW) as an exchange-traded product (ETP). Bitwise 10 Crypto Index Fund was launched in November 2017 and is the world's first cryptocurrency index fund.
