Ripple is licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority to provide crypto payment services in United Arab Emirates

According to online reports, Arif Amiri, CEO of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), said that Ripple has obtained full regulatory approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to provide cross-border crypto payment services in the United Arab Emirates. The company announced on March 13 that it had obtained its DFSA license allowing it to operate in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). DIFC is a free economic zone in the United Arab Emirates with its own tax policy and regulatory framework. The announcement comes nearly six months after the company announced it had received approval in principle for the DFSA license. On October 1, 2024, Ripple revealed that it was working to obtain a DFSA license to launch its digital asset infrastructure in United Arab Emirates.
