Bill Ackerman "admitted his mistake": Lutnik did not pursue his own interests "

According to online reports, hedge fund magnate Bill Ackerman said on social media platforms: "It is unfair for me to attack Lutnik. I don't think he's pursuing his own interests." Ackerman blasted Lutnik yesterday, saying the latter made profits by shorting the United States. In response, he said: "I am very frustrated that after our country and the president have made tremendous economic progress, there have been what I believe is a major policy mistake, and now we are at risk because of tariffs." Earlier, Hassett, director of the U.S. National Economic Council, said that Ackerman should soften the tariff wording: "I urge everyone, especially Bill, to soften their rhetoric a little."
