Bitcoin short-term futures see a discount in Deribit
According to online reports, the current trading price of the Bitcoin futures contract expiring on Friday in Deribit is lower than the index price of the trading platform, indicating weak market demand. Andrew Melville, research analyst at Block Scholes, said: "Short-term (seven days and less) yields have fallen to negative values for the first time, meaning futures prices are below spot prices, which we believe is a clear bearish signal."
