Surveillance technology company Flock Safety receives $275 million in financing from A16z
Internet reports that Flock Safety, a surveillance technology company based in Atlanta, has completed a US$275 million financing led by Andreessen Horowitz(A16z), with the company's valuation reaching US$7.5 billion. Also participating in this round of investments include Greenoaks Capital and Bedrock Capital. So far, FlockSafety's cumulative financing amount has exceeded US$950 million. The company plans to develop U.S. -made drones in 2025 and build a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Georgia. The company focuses on providing artificial intelligence-based security monitoring solutions, mainly for government and corporate customers.
