OpenAI tests adding watermarking to ChatGPT-4o image model "
On April 7, according to Bleeping Computer, OpenAI is testing to add watermarks to the ChatGPT-4o Image Generation Model (ImageGen) or add logos to free user-generated images. The model is currently open to all users and supports high-quality image generation, including works in the Ghibli style. Sources say that images generated by ChatGPT Plus subscribers will be watermarked. In addition, OpenAI is developing the ImageGen API, which will be open to developers in the future.
