Slow fog: Social engineering attacks using malicious video call links are on the rise again, users should be vigilant about security

Internet reports that the Slow Fog Security Team issued an early warning that social engineering attacks using malware are on the rise again. Hackers are tricking victims into downloading malicious scripts by sending fake video call links. In a recent case, an attacker hacked into the victim's friend's Telegram account and used the account to initiate a call invitation. The Slow Fog team reminds users that once they discover that they have been attacked, they should take the following measures immediately: 1. Protect assets-if a backup of the wallet private key or mnemonic words is stored on the computer, transfer funds immediately; 2. Change passwords and two-factor authentication-update Telegram, X, email, exchange account passwords and check for unknown logins; 3. Run a complete anti-virus scan-using well-known security software such as AVG, Bitdefender, and Kaspersky; 4. If you still have concerns, back up important files, reset your system, and scan everything before restoring.
