Internet reports that Textile and 3Box Labs, two companies in the field of encrypted data storage, announced an all-stock merger agreement. The combined company will retain the Textile brand and will be led by current CEO Andrew Hill. The two companies have previously jointly obtained investment from USV, CoinFund and Multicoin, with a cumulative financing of more than US$42 million. Michael Sena, co-founder of 3Box Labs, said that the two companies have previously overlapped in products and will jointly build a blockchain data infrastructure in the future. The new company plans to create an "intelligent layer for the multi-agent economy" to provide data storage, access and verification services for AI agents. Hill emphasized that blockchain provides a natural platform for AI agent operations, enabling data interaction and alpha transactions between agents.
