Virtuals launches Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP)
According to official reports, Virtuals Protocol announced the official launch of the Agent Commerce Protocol(ACP), which aims to build a business ecosystem composed of AI agents. The protocol will allow autonomous interaction, collaboration and transactions between AI agents, forming the so-called "Virtuals Nation." The ACP framework consists of three core parts: the AI agent index registry (similar to the "Yelp" evaluation system for AI agents), the AI agent business interaction system (which promotes collaboration and evaluation among agents), and the AI agent currency trading system (which enables transactions through smart contracts). Currently, Virtuals Protocol has approximately 17,000 AI agents covering multiple industry areas. It is reported that Virtuals Protocol plans to launch two business clusters in the next month: autonomous hedge funds and trading DAOs (working with projects such as aixbt_agent and AIxVC_io) and autonomous media companies (working with luna_virtual, MusicByVirtuals, etc.). At the same time, the project will also hold a hackathon to encourage developers to build more innovative AI agent business clusters, such as acting for Hollywood, acting for sports and entertainment.
