People familiar with the matter: European regulators are reviewing OKX's Web3 service

Internet reports that people familiar with the matter said that European cryptocurrency regulators are investigating hackers using a service provided by OKX to launder proceeds from the $1.5 billion theft of trading platform Bybit. Two people familiar with the matter said regulators are focusing on OKX's Web3 service. OKX promotes the service as a decentralized financial platform and self-managed wallet that gives cryptocurrency traders access to various exchanges and blockchains. Bybit said authorities believe North Korea-related hackers have laundered approximately $100 million in cryptocurrency stolen through the Web3 platform.
