In March, DeFi's revenue was generally halved, with only MakerDAO achieving growth."
Internet reports that revenue from most mainstream DeFi protocols on Solana, Ethereum and BNB Chain fell by more than 50% month-on-month in March, reflecting the overall slowdown in chain activity and transaction volume. The total revenue of the Solana agreement was approximately US$42 million, a month-on-month decrease of 55%; the revenue of PancakeSwap on the BNB chain was US$21 million, a decrease of 54%; the total revenue of agreements such as Ethena, Lido, and Aave on the Ethereum chain was US$24.5 million, a decrease of more than 52%. The only thing that bucked the trend was MakerDAO (now known as Sky), which had revenue of US$10 million in March, an increase of 11% month-on-month. DeFi tokens were also weak, with GMCI's GMDEFI index falling 40% during the year.
