Internet reports that MakerDAO voted to maintain its recent rebranding, which will still change its name to Sky. Previously, there was strong opposition from the outside world that the decentralized autonomous organization behind the oldest and largest Ethereum-based algorithmic stablecoin DAI was wasting its industry-wide recognition. In the vote, nearly 80% of the vote supported retaining "Sky as a backend agreement brand." However, of the roughly 20 voting entities, only four accounted for almost all of the vote, each with about 20 percent of the vote, and only one large entity opposed the proposal.
