EU MiCA approves 10 stablecoin issuers, Tether is not listed

According to online reports, the list of compliant stablecoin issuers of the European Union's Cryptocurrency Market Regulation Act (MiCA) was announced. 10 institutions including Circle, Crypto.com, and Societe Generale were allowed to issue euro and US dollar stablecoins, involving a total of 10 types of euro stablecoins and 5 types of US dollar stablecoins. Tether (USDT, with a market cap of more than US$141 billion), the world's largest stablecoin issuer, does not appear on the list.
