XRP Ledger Foundation reveals that latest updated version of XRPL JavaScript library contains 'serious vulnerability'

Online reports that the XRP Ledger Foundation said the latest version of the XRPL JavaScript library used to build applications contains potential vulnerabilities and urged affected projects to update to the patched version of the code. The problem was discovered by Aikido Security malware researcher Charlie Eriksen, who said the "backdoor" could lead to a "potentially catastrophic" supply chain attack.
