Apple M4 Chip Mac mini Coming Soon
Apple will launch a completely redesigned Mac mini equipped with an M4 chip in the second half of this year.
Apple Inc. (AAPL) plans to launch a completely redesigned Mac mini in the second half of this year, its first major redesign since 2010.
The new Mac mini will be equipped with the latest M4 chip and will be reduced in size to make it close to the size of an Apple TV. The change marks a comprehensive upgrade of Apple's product line.
The M4 chip is equipped with four performance cores and six efficiency cores, as well as a new 10-core GPU, which applies ray tracing technology to the iPad for the first time.
At the same time, the M4 chip is also equipped with a 16-core neural engine, with an AI processing capacity of 38 trillion operations per second.
The M4 chip will be at the heart of the new Mac mini and other Mac products, laying the foundation for future artificial intelligence applications.
In addition to the Mac mini, Apple also plans to launch iMac computers and MacBook Pros equipped with M4 chips this year, while the MacBook Air, Mac Pro and Mac Studio are expected to be available in 2025. Apple aims to achieve a comprehensive improvement in product performance by applying the M4 chip to the entire Mac series.
