ASIC emergency freezes assets of David Valvo and related companies
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has initiated emergency proceedings in the Federal Court against former Sydney financial adviser David Valvo and related company Your Financial Freedom Pty Ltd.。
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has initiated emergency proceedings in the Federal Court against former Sydney financial adviser David Valvo and related company Your Financial Freedom Pty Ltd.。
The court ordered the freezing of the assets of Mr Valvo and Your Financial Freedom Pty Ltd (ACN 083 0044 580), restricted Mr Valvo from leaving Australia and required him to surrender his passport.。
ASIC is currently investigating the provision of financial services by David Valvo and Your Financial Freedom between 1 January 2015 and 21 September 2021 in relation to fees charged to customer pension funds.。
These orders were changed on July 7 and August 4, 2023, with Mr. Valvo's consent.。
The case was included in the case management hearing held on September 29, 2023.。
