eToro Launches Live Trades
eToro launched a 'live trades' feature on its platform, which is currently available to all users except US traders, to provide valuable insights for experienced traders.
The social trading platform eToro has announced the launch of a new feature called "Live Trades" on its platform. The service is currently available to almost all users except for US traders, providing valuable insights for experienced traders.
Live Trades’s social advantage
This latest tool can be found on the platform's "Discover" page, directly below the "Copy Traders" section, allowing users to track the positions of other investors.
As a social trading platform, eToro's new feature will enable retail investors to instantly see the positions and signals of "popular investors" on the platform, who are experienced traders sharing their trading ideas with other eToro users.
Moreover, "Live Trades" is also aimed at providing a platform for popular investors themselves to gain additional recognition for their achievements and profitable signals, creating a win-win situation for traders and investors.
eToro's Latest Developments
eToro recently announced a partnership with 21Shares, a cryptocurrency exchange-traded product (ETP) issuer. Established a month ago, this collaboration aims to launch a new investment portfolio utilizing data-driven strategies for cryptocurrency investments, reflecting eToro's commitment to financial technology innovation.
Additionally, the platform has enhanced user engagement by allowing retail stock traders to participate in shareholder meetings. This feature, initially launched for US stocks last year, has now expanded to global markets, enabling eToro traders to exercise their voting rights in various companies.
In recent compliance and operational developments, eToro achieved a significant milestone by obtaining SOC 2 Type II compliance certification. This certification, audited and awarded by Grant Thornton two weeks ago, demonstrates eToro's adherence to high standards of data security, privacy, and confidentiality in its custodial business.
Furthermore, eToro welcomed Naomi Rarmani back as Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Operations earlier this month. With her extensive experience in compliance and operational management, she is dedicated to strengthening eToro's commitment to regulatory and operational excellence.
