FCA Cancels Guyon Capital Management's License

UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) decides to cancel Part 4A licence for Guyon Capital Management Limited。

UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) decides to cancel Part 4A licence for Guyon Capital Management Limited。

The effect of the cancellation is that Guyon Capital Management Limited no longer has the right to conduct any regulated activity.。

The company is authorized by the Authority to carry out the following regulated activities.

  1. 1.Consent to conduct regulated activities
  2. 2.Arrange / facilitate investment transactions
  3. 3.Making arrangements for investment transactions
  4. 4.Management investment

Guyon Capital Management filed a regulatory statement with the Authority for the period from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021 showing that the company did not generate any income from the regulated activities it was permitted to conduct.。

On 19 July 2023, the Authority issued a notice to the company stating that:

  1. The Authority considers that the company has failed to carry out the regulated activities covered by its Part 4A licence
  2. The Authority proposes to cancel Guyon Capital Management's Part 4A licence on 17 August 2023 unless the company takes the steps specified in the notification instructions.

Guyon Capital Management failed to take the action specified in the notice。

The Authority considers that Guyon Capital Management did not carry out regulated activities in connection with its Part 4A licence。Accordingly, the Authority decided to cancel the Company's Part 4A licence。Cancellation of GCML Part 4A Licenses Effective August 17, 2023。
