The American Securities Association calls on current SEC Chairman Gary Gensler to resign immediately

According to online reports, the American Securities Association (ASA) issued a document calling on Gary Gensler, Chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), to resign immediately. Chris Iacovella, ASA President and CEO, said,"Voters have voted that the country needs a new direction, and Chairman Gensler should respect this vote and resign immediately. This is the only way for American working families, retired savers and small businesses to rebuild their trust and confidence in the SEC as an institution."
