Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) owners have charged that the company's electric vehicles have misstated the expected mileage, but a federal judge has ruled that owners must pursue claims in individual arbitration and cannot sue jointly by filing a class action lawsuit。

On March 7, local time, federal district judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in Oakland, California, announced that the owner agreed to resolve the complaint with the automaker through an arbitration clause when buying a car.。
