On August 1, local time, data released by South Korea's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources showed that South Korea's exports fell 16% year-on-year in July..5% to 503.$300 million, the 10th consecutive monthly decline and the biggest drop since May 2020。The decline in exports in July was due to continued sluggish demand for semiconductors, weaker oil prices and a higher base last year.。Data show that South Korea's main export chip exports in July fell 34% year-on-year, for 12 consecutive months of negative growth.。In the first half of this year, South Korea's semiconductor exports were 439.$300 million, down 36.8%。
