Former US CFTC chairman: No intention of running for next US SEC chairman
Online reports that Chris Giancarlo, former Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), issued a document on platform X clarifying that he was not running for the next chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He said that when he took office as chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, he had already cleaned up a lot of "mess" for current U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler, and now he doesn't want to do it again.
