Ethereum Developer Conference: Pectra upgrade encountered new bugs, public test network upgrade delayed
According to online reports, Ethereum developers stated at the 204th Core Developer Executive Meeting (ACDE) that due to a new consensus bug in Pectra Devnet 5, which affected the Nethermind client, the developers decided to postpone determining the specific upgrade time for the public test network. The Nethermind team stated that the bug caused by BLS pre-compilation optimization has been fixed and will not affect the launch of Devnet 6. Developers plan to revisit the discussion of Testnet upgrade timing at next week's ACD meeting.
