Luxury fashion giant LVMH is sued over NFT patented technology for watches

A company that sells smart watch surface designs through non-tamper tokens has sued LVMH, accusing the luxury fashion group of patent infringement, Internet reported. In a complaint filed in federal court in Texas on March 10, Watch Skins accused LVMH of embezzling its "groundbreaking NFT display technology." Watch Skins claims to have developed a unique system that allows users to display verified NFT art on their smart watches and holds multiple patents related to the technology. The company alleges that a smartwatch from LVMH's watch brand TAG Heuer and other products from the group's brands illegally used NFT display technology based on three patents owned by Watch Skins.
