Various U.S. government departments remind employees not to immediately respond to Musk's email "listing the work completed in the past week"
Internet reports that on February 23 local time, U.S. State Department officials told their employees not to immediately respond to an email from Musk, head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency, that "listed the work completed in the past week." On the same day, the U.S. Department of Defense also issued a statement saying that Department of Defense personnel may have received an email from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management requesting "what they did last week." In response, the Ministry of Defense said it is responsible for reviewing the performance of its personnel and will conduct any reviews in accordance with its own procedures. If necessary, the Department of Defense will coordinate emails received by employees. Currently, the Department of Defense requires employees to suspend any responses to the email. FBI Director Cash Patel also urged his employees not to respond to emails sent by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management to federal government workers for the time being. (Jin Shi)
